Review and feature comparison of Sumsung 4K LED TV KU6470 VS MU6470

I purchased Samsung KU6470 4K LED TV in Nov 2016. Samsung launched the KU, 6 series in the year of 2016 and MU 6 series in 2017.  Both come with a different variant in 43, 49, etc.,



Samsung 4K LED TV: KU6470 has its own pros and cons.

Cons:

  • There is issue with Bluetooth speaker for this model. You can't control the volume from TV remote. If your speaker comes with remote then still you can control the volume using that. However if not then you need to manual go to speaker and change the volume. This make it very difficult to use this functionality even though it is supported.
  • The volume of key is very much irritating and disturb at each time.
  • You can't browse with voice in www.google.com
  • There is very limited app available which can be downloaded and used.
  • PIP will work for computer and TV to watch at the same time. You can't watch two channel at the same time.
  • Screen mirroring is clarity is not up-to the match and you can observe many glitch frequently.
  • Screen casting work with laptop and mobile both with very poor quality of results. you can observe connection issue as well even though your laptop will support wireless display.
  • There is no audio 3mm jack available for audio output.

Pros:

Picture Clarity:

  • The display quality and clarify is amazing. you will love to watch the 4K videos on this TV.

Finishing, outer look:

  • It comes with black border which make it very much beautiful to watch in night and good lighting environment.

Setup Box:

  • It comes with inbuilt setup box for airtel, sun-tv and dishTV. so you don't need any external setup box to make it work. This will reduce the wiring and give better look.

Browsing capability:

  • Use of browser is very good and comfortable.

Wireless keyboard and mouse connection:

  • You can connect wireless keyboard and mouse to make the browsing easy.

Main supported application:

  • It support Netflix, Amazon videos, SonyLiv, Jio Cinema, YouTube, YupTV, AjTak, NDTV etc.,

Audio speaker connection:

  • It support optical out for latest audio system connection.

Universal remote:

  • One remote for all. You do not need separate remote for DTH as DTH is inbuilt.

Voice base search control:

It support voice based search on YouTube.

Samsung 4K LED TV: MU6470 has its own pros and cons.

Pros compare to KU6470:

Audio connection:

The problem of Bluetooth audio connection and volume has been fixed in this MU series TV.  You will not face the issue to connect the Bluetooth speaker and ever you can control the volume of speaker using TV remote.

Key voice issue:

Issue of key press sound has been fixed in this model.  You will not get irritated with the sound of it.

Audio clarity:

The audio clarity of the TV is improved compare to KU series TVs.

Screen mirroring:

The issue of screen casting and glitch is fixed in this series.

Cons compare to KU6470:

  1. The brightness control is improved.
  2. PIP feature is removed.
  3. will not come will black border.
