Yazaki has small development center in India which was established before around 4 years in India. Current strength of the company is around 50. They work on instrument cluster and other automotive product development.

Note:
The below information is based on personal experience with company and it may vary person to person. There is no intention to harm anyone here or company.

Plus Points:

Cab Facility:

Yazaki provides the Non AC cab facilities to their employees at minimal price. Cab facilities is very good and convenient. However you can ask to turn on AC during raining season. Pick and drop facilities will be provided from nearest point of your house to office.

Vending Machine:

Yazaki has vending machine for the items like Maggie, potato chips which can be taken at any time. Biscuit will provided at free of cost at 5 o'clock during each working day. Yazaki also provides the extra amount of 60 rs per day for food. Yazaki doesn't have any canteen facilities at office. you need to go out for lunch or you need to bring lunch box from home.

Work Culture:

Yazaki provides the very good work culture to their employee and provide the training to their employee as an when requires. There is no work pressure and you can work-life balance, however you need to maintain average of 9.5 hours daily at the end of the month, which will be difficult sometimes.

Training:

You will get good amount to time to learn the things. However they will provide the training on the topic for which you are going to work. Yazaki also provide valuable training like TUV certification on functional safety or Cyber security which will cost you huge amount if you do outside the company. You may also get opportunity to learn Japanese if you are luck enough.

Work Life Balance:

In the complete around 2 years of tenure, I have not filled the work pressure as such. Most time it will be relaxed atmosphere where you will have good amount of work life balance. Things will go in its own ways, you will your own time to learns the things & get practical knowledge of it. Its depends on you how you will learn & become master of it.

Recreation

Yazaki used to organize fun at work activities, which will be taken care by local HR at YITC. The company celebrates all the festivals, occasions. At there were less employee, you will feel connect with each other and enjoy all the celebration without any hesitation which you may get with bunch of people. The company also celebrate sports day and organize the tournaments for cricket, badminton, chess. However company doesn't have table tennis facility at the moment in the campus.

IT Support:

As company is small in India. It is faster to get the request approved and do the necessary stuff faster.

Rewards & Recognition:

On the annual day, all the rewards and recognition will be given. The annual day will be well organized in Yazaki.

Neutral:

Learning Opportunity Vs Growth:

In Yazaki, you will be get good learning opportunity, however as there is very less members you will not be able to get the complete knowledge you will get in other MNCs. As there are very less experts you will not get support from them. you need to find your own way to solve the problems. Because of all this, you will find difficulties to increase to get more on practical knowledge. However you can learn systematically here as you will learn from scratch. You will also get time to learn the new things if you are willing to.

There are very less leaders & managers. You will not get diversified option to work on different technologies as you will be able to get with other MNCs. I guess Yazaki will still take time to grow to reach good amount of maturation level.

Security:

The company believe in high security just like other Japanese company. It is very important to follow all discipline which is mentioned as part of guideline. Example could be no picture taking inside company premises.

Minus Points:

Working Hours:

Yazaki has policy on working hours and which requires to average 9.5 hours daily in month. If there is shortage you may face the salary cut, However it is depends on your manager. This rule is being inherited from the pune branch where Yazaki have production plants and other production related activities.

Service Agreement:

You need to sign the service agreement / bond of 2 years irrespective your experience. It will be applied to fresher and laterals also. Service agreement amount will around 40% of your total CTC amount. If you leave the company before 1.5 years then you need to pay the full amount. After 1.5 year of service if you leave then you need to pay the amount based on pro data. However still it will be good amount of money. So if you are thinking not to stay in this company for more than 2 years then this is not right company for you. You need to think twice on this point before you make your mind.

Service Agreement for Onsite Opportunity:

Yazaki also has service agreement if you got the opportunity to travel aboard. Here also service agreement amount is very high. You also need to serve for the specific during after coming back from onsite. You need to sign the bond even if you travel for the short duration of 15 days as well. Only he you are travelling to provide the training then this is not applicable.

Operational Mode:

Generally people join the company considering the fact that company is big, though it is start-up in India. People thinks that you will get good onsite and learning opportunities when joining. It is true till some extend, however there are some bottleneck created because of certain operating modes in the way company works.

Salary Structure:

The salary structure doesn't facilitate you to provide meal coupons which will benefits you for tax, nor it has component for fuel allowance.

Canteen:

Company doesn't have canteen facilities yet. However company provides some for food per working day.
